Library events - RMIT University SKIP TO CONTENT Organise workshops and consultations for your students Resources for students with a disability We are thrilled to announce an amazing event that promises a journey filled with joy and benefits! This is a fantastic opportunity to deepen your understanding of library services, connect with wonderful people, and have a great time! It is a fantastic welcome newbies event organised by the Japanese Culture Club in collaboration with RMIT Vietnam Library, drawing inspiration from the Japanese manga series "Black Butler." Let's join the event by bringing your pre-loved books to the library from 18th March to 22nd April and swap them for other books on 23rd of April. We are also calling for donations for children going through treatments at Vietnam children’s hospitals. A collaboration event between RMIT Library Vietnam and the Japanese Culture Club JCOR offers an exclusive opportunity to immerse yourself in the captivating world of Japanese culture, learn more about library services and resources, and even take home some wonderful gifts. The seminar attracted 70 participants from 44 institutions across Vietnam, including high schools, universities, and professional organizations. Notable attendees included representatives from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, the University of Commerce, VinUniversity, British University Vietnam, and many more, surpassing initial expectations. It is time to check your bookshelves again and swap old books for new adventures This event is also to calling donations for VinaCapital Foundation. A Heart of Art: Courage to be Creative In 2023, the Library and Visual Art Club are collaborating to organise a slogan contest open to all RMIT members. Engaging drafting workshops are included. Build Your Bookshelf Competition 2023 BUILD YOUR BOOKSHELF COMPETITION 2023 is a part of RMIT Vietnam Library's annual events and is dedicated specifically to our BOOK LOVERS. Entering the contest, contestants will curate, or “build”, a COLLECTION of books within a theme that reflects a part of yourself or what you are passionate about. This session is an introduction to the principles of open scholarship. Fantastic Books: A Book Review Contest 2022 Read a book and express your feelings with a 60-second video. The book must be in English and available at RMIT Vietnam Library, either in print or electronic.
