With the aim of strengthening the capacity of using equipment for technical staff, from June 12th to 16th 2017, the leadership of National Institute for Control of Vaccines and Biologicals assigned 2 officials to visit the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), Republic of Korea to participate in the 3rd training course on use of equipment for vaccine quality control.
There are 5 member countries which joined the session including Lao, Cambodia, Phillipines, Mongolia and Vietnam. The training course is focused on strengthening necessary skills and knowledge for assuring the quality of vaccines, especially using laboratory equipment.
During the study session, MFDS’s quality management system was introduced while the trainees also made presentations on their own countries’ quality control systems.
